Frequently Asked Questions

Our first session together is all about getting to know each other! Over 30 minutes, we’ll have a relaxed chat about your health background, what you’re hoping to achieve, your lifestyle, and anything else that might be relevant to your fitness journey. I’ll also guide you through some basic exercises – nothing scary, just establishing where you’re starting from so we can track your progress. It’s also your chance to ask me anything and get comfortable before we dive into a training program. My clients say this session is when they realised personal training is not intimidating at all. It is my job to put you at ease and make you feel confident in the gym!

It’s super easy! You can call or text me directly on 07375327754, send me an email at msnicolamorfett@hotmail.com, or use the booking form right here on my website. I’ll get back to you within 24 hours to arrange our initial FREE consultation.

If you have any questions before booking, feel free to reach out – I’m always happy to chat and see if we’re a good fit before you commit to any paid sessions.

I offer 3 packages to suit different needs and budgets. Single PAYG sessions are £45 each, but all my clients opt for packages of 1, 2, or 3 sessions per week, which offer better value as I offer a discount on package bookings. I also have special rates for couples or small friend groups who want to train together and share the cost. During our initial consultation, we can discuss the options and find what works best for you.

Absolutely not! I specialise in making fitness accessible and enjoyable for everyone, especially beginners. We’ll start at your level, focus on movements that feel good for your body, and build your confidence step by step. Many of my most dedicated clients started as complete novices who were super nervous about their first session. Remember, everyone you see at the gym had a first day too! I will be with you every step of the way and have built up multiple strategies for overcoming nerves and discomfort being on the gym floor. With me by your side, you never need to worry about feeling intimidated or out of place. The gym is for every body at every level.

If you’re reading this, you’re probably already considering making a positive change – and that’s brilliant! Whether you’re completely new to exercise, returning after a break, looking to mix things up, or training for something specific, I’m here to make the journey enjoyable and effective. My personalised approach means we work at your pace, focusing on what matters to you. Personal training is so much more than learning exercise – it’s a way to fast-track your results and make a new friend in the process!

Not only have I worked with numerous Muslim women throughout my career, I am Muslim myself! I am very knowledgeable and considerate of the requirements of my Muslim sisters and will accommodate all aspects of modesty and decency whilst training as well as advise on nutrition with relevant Halal options.

This really depends on you – your goals, schedule, and budget all play a part. My clients see me 1-3 times a week. If you’re just starting out, 2-3 sessions weekly can help build momentum and confidence with proper form. As you progress, we might scale back to once a week with me providing workouts for you to follow independently on other days. The beauty of personal training is it’s completely flexible – we’ll find what works best for you and will chat about adjustments to your plan as needed. I am considerate of busy schedules and tight budgets so will never pressure my clients into committing to anything beyond their means.

In most cases, yes! I have experience working with clients with various conditions and previous injuries, from hypermobility, pregnancy to PCOS. During our initial consultation, we’ll discuss your specific requirements. For certain medical conditions, I may request you check with your GP before we begin to give you the all clear. I’ll design our training to work with your body, not against it, focusing on safe movement patterns that help rather than hinder your overall health. I will also work alongside your physiotherapist or other healthcare providers to provide maximum support.

Yes, I can offer general nutrition guidance to complement your fitness routine. We’ll talk about balanced eating, meal timing around workouts, and simple adjustments that support your goals. For clients needing in-depth nutritional support, I can recommend resources to get the level of support required as I am not qualified to provide meal plans or dietary changes for medical conditions (no personal trainer should offer these without a nutrition degree!!) Good nutrition is essential to seeing results, so it’s always part of our conversation! I’ll ask about your food, give you feedback and guidance on how we can make improvements.

Yes, my personal training is personal! After our initial chat and assessment, I’ll create a personalised plan that takes into account your goals, preferences, available time, and any limitations. This isn’t a one-size-fits-all approach that you might see elsewhere or online – your plan will evolve as you make progress and as we discover what works best for you. I also provide guidance for activities between our sessions to keep your momentum going outside of our time together. I work to a holistic approach that means we’ll follow a structure to get you the best results, but is flexible enough that if we have a setback (injury, illness, holiday etc.) we can adjust to work around it.

Everyone’s body responds differently to exercise, but most clients notice some changes within 2-4 weeks – often improved energy, mood, and sleep quality come before visible physical changes. Physical transformations typically become more noticeable after 6-8 weeks of consistent training and nutrition. Remember, the most sustainable results come from consistent, gradual progress rather than extreme approaches. We’ll track various measures of progress, not just weight or appearance, to celebrate all your victories along the way.

My standard sessions run for 45 minutes – that gives us plenty of time for a proper warm-up, effective workout, cool-down, and a quick catch-up on how you’re feeling. If you’re training for something specific or need extra attention, we can arrange 60-minute sessions too. Whatever we choose, I promise you’ll feel like every minute counts and you’ll know you have been to the gym for days after!

I am a personal trainer at Puregym Luton & Dunstable (opposite big Tesco). At this time I am not looking to extend my service to other gyms or locations and I do not offer home or external training. You will need to have a basic membership to access Puregym Luton in order to train with me.

Just comfortable clothes you can move freely in and trainers that support your feet (preferably not Crocs, Converse/Vans). You don’t need any fancy accessories or gadgets! Bring a water bottle to stay hydrated and a small towel if you like. All the equipment we need is located in and around the gym or I will provide. The most important thing to bring is your positive attitude, even on those days when motivation is lacking – I will be your biggest supporter and loudest cheerleader!

Life happens, and I completely understand that! I ask for 24 hours’ notice for cancellations so I can potentially offer that slot to another client. Short notice cancellations and reschedule requests with less than 24 hours’ notice incur a charge of 100% of the session fee. However, I’m human too – if you’re genuinely unwell or have an emergency, just let me know and we’ll work something out – I will always be fair and be as flexible as possible.

While I can’t guarantee specific results (anyone who does isn’t being honest!), I can guarantee my complete commitment to helping you achieve your goals. If you’re not happy with your progress after your first 4 weeks, we’ll have a free 30 minute sit down session to address any concerns and figure out together how to get the needle moving. Fitness is a journey we’ll take together, with ups and downs along the way, but I’ll be there supporting you every step.

This question is really important to me. My approach is all about making fitness enjoyable – it doesn’t have to feel like a chore or something to endure. I focus on building a genuine friendship with my clients, understanding what motivates you (and what doesn’t), and creating sessions that leave you feeling accomplished and energised – my goal is to see you leave the gym happier than when you came in! Rather than focusing only on physical changes, we’ll work on developing a positive relationship with exercise that impacts your life outside the gym. My clients do tell me our sessions feel more like meeting a friend than “formal” training – which makes showing up consistently so much easier and fun!

Absolutely, yes! I really enjoy the energy and dynamics of pair or group sessions – it’s a huge amount of fun, energy and motivation. If 1:1 personal training feels scary, or if you have a friend who shares your interest this is a great way to get started! Plus, it’s a great way to benefit from PT sessions in a budget friendly way as the cost is shared.

No! I have had clients of every gender and age group throughout my career and I welcome everyone to experience personal training in Luton.

I’m a fully certified fitness professional with all the official credentials you’d expect – including my Level 3 Personal Training certification. I’ve also invested in additional training in pad work, advanced stretching, suspension training and more. But beyond the certificates on my wall, what really matters is my own real life knowledge and experience from weight loss to bodybuilding and the commitment I have to helping you achieve your goals in a way that works for your body and lifestyle!

No pressure at all! Why not get in touch for a quick, free phone consultation? We can have a chat about your current situation and goals, and you can decide if you’d like to take the next step. Sometimes just talking through your concerns can help clarify whether personal training is the right approach for you. Remember, investing in your health is always worthwhile, but it needs to feel right for you.
